Morning everyone. Finally sat down

 

I've seen that thread before.. I just replaced everything with LED except the tail light housing. I didn't touch the fog lights but the lights next to them got an upgrade. I don't know if that's what's making them act weird? The wiring for those lights was also kind of iffy, I think I'm going to check fuses and all then and then try to rewire the lights better regardless.

 

I'm still not seeing $600+ used. What did that damn thing cost new?

I had just seen some reviews stating how great a radio it was etc. It doesn't;t even have system fusion on it though. Basically it's just a commercial quality analog radio with some fancy options. Seems like there's better options with the newer ones that are 1/3 of the price.


I'm always up for a hurricane party. Kinda miss riding them out like when I was growing up.

 

I'm thinking locally DMR would be the route to go and elsewhere if there's a tower when camping somewhere. I know you can use one of the access points to get on the system but what if there isn't internet to hook on to? I seem to remember seeing one that did analog and DMR both. Course then you'll need a dual band DMR radio to rack up some monies to have yourself covered everywhere. Yes, I know this is probably why so many have 3 or 4 radios. lol

Yeah that's basically a S&R handheld. You can text message on that. Shows location of near by users and tbeir speed/heading. Can plot your route as you travel.

If you're looking for digital than there are deff better radios out there for cheaper.

This radio is a pure shit hit the fan survival radio.
