    This looks to be the last of the "after work on the deck with a drink" weather around here. Michigan is truly entering fall later this week.

    Looks like downtown Madison a month ago! 5" of rain here in town, 15" west of here, luckily a different water shed. If that fell here the lake would have topped the dam by 3'.:eek: Two lakes would become one. Our hospital (300+ beds) would be in the lake as well as the one 4 blocks away (400+ beds).

    Yup, been on a good bit. I’m a bit too far out to reach both repeaters that are linked so I had to use echolink from the house till yesterday. Now I can easily get in with the mobile from the house. I have to stand at the edge of the yard to get in on DMR. So I think I’ll be fine after I get an antenna on the house to plug into. Will eventually get a hot spot to use DMR inside too.

    No kidding? Yeah, I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. I’ve got a mag mount NMO stubby dual band on the roof of the truck and that thing has really impressed me for what it can do. I never thought it would work as good as it does.
