I have a feeling I'm probably going to have to compound some of mine too. Not looking forward to doing all of that. Won't ever be buying a solid color again due to the essential lack of clear coat. My 2000 looked like new in 2012 when I traded it in.

If you need more light throw the light bar in (4 bumper bolts) and use the wireless harness/remote real quick while you figure out the aux fuse box snafus

 

If I tackle the aux pannel I'm either rearranging it with a bfh or cutting it and 3m taping it to the top of the existing box

So apparently we’ll be getting remnants of Florence by the name of Kirk.

 

I almost got to doze off when I got a call saying I had to go to our other ramp to help out. On the plus side, all the trucks are running again, 2 out of 3 forklifts are working and 2 out of 3 jacks work. Not bad for here.

What did I do?

 

Architects over engineered a 25ft 2000lb piece of metal that will be used for a pizzeria we're building in the airport.

Our company expected less than 10 of us to lift this metal, take it up a jetway and into our work space. When we saw the metal there some blank stares but thankfully the endless red tape that is airport work saved us when inspectors and airport officials showed up and said "yeah, you're not doing that".

Not really sure why our bosses insist on not thinking these thongs through, and why architects/structual engineers hate us by over engineering this.

 

That's funny. Used to happen to us all the time. Welding double sticks of 6" pipe and hanging them 16' in a pipe rack. Super gave us a 3rd man and 2 ladders hahaha

 

The best part is it's all purely decorative stuff. They built a metal structure that could survive a bomb just to hide it all with flashy stuff.
