Glad this stint is over. Can’t deal with the brain deadery

 

I was fixin to say we have zero patients at the moment... then a dude walks in with dizziness... WALKS in.

 

Not sure if people can still wheel through ashburnham state forest, but that’s not too far from you if you head west. it was a good time back in the day with all kinds of terrain, including a sand pit.

 

We have 8. One that called an ambulance b/c he sprained his ankle 4 days ago in a football game and his other ankle is hurting now when he walks. He rated his pain 10/10.......and we just had a vag irritation walk in at 5am to the ER

 

That shit just could NOT wait till primary care opens.

 

Hell no, cause the Primary's charge you a $5 or $10 co-pay with Medicaid. We charge $0. I work here and my co-pay is $140.

 

That makes so much sense.......

 

For me to walk in the ER door is $200!

 

In all honesty, it should be expensive to come here. It's suppose to be an emergency. We treat a lot of doc visits here b/c people know they don't have to pay.....and that only drive the cost up for ones that do have insurance. People shouldn't treat an ER like a doc in the box.

I don't really care that my co-pay is $140 b/c if I need to be seen in the ER......it's gonna be damn well worth it

 

The one and only time I had to visit here my total bill (before insurance) was $7000. It was well worth the $70 copay plus $1000 in other stuff. Because I would be dead if I didn't roll in.

 

I'm just happy I get the $700 allowance from my work. Usually covers my annual doctor's visit for my sinus infection

 

My brother in law was telling me his premium is only like $10/mo through the plan he has through your company but has like a 10k deductible. I pay damn near $500/mo for my family plan through Tufts and still pay a $60 copay when I have to take the little man to his Boston Children’s 1.5minute appointment.

 

Yeah my deductible is fricken nutz if I ever have to go there. Wasn't always that way
