Work out ok? I really want one of those coe designs hard shells.

 

I like the RTT's and the roof top shell pop up one, but I just stay with the cheap route and camp out of the bed of my z71 with a normal topper on.

 

Sort of wished I’d waited for one of the hard shells, but it works for us right now.

 

I've got a shell on mine and I also bought a Kamp Rite tent. It was perfect setup under a canopy.

 

That's what I'm afraid of. I think I'll just keep saving my pennies for the hard shell.

I am also 5'6. and after sleeping in a dodge neon multiple times during road trips, I cant wait to try out the backseat in the truck. or just by reclining the seat since all my stuff will be in the bed under cover and not in the back seat.

 

I've got a long bed, so I can sprawl out

 

never thought of that. I just didn't like the extra length to the truck. and my motorcycle will fit in the back, as long as I keep the tail gate down.

 

my z71 has the 8' bed, I have a 6' deck with a draw under it. Then I still have 2' of space for larger stuff

haha, being small is great. So what if we need a step ladder to reach the top shelf, or to change a light bulb. I can fit in some small places (helps at work) and sleep in smaller!!

 

I worked underground steam tunnels 4 years my foreman was about five foot two tell me about it

 

Try having baby seats when I’m 6’1” and wife is 5’11”...can never take the truck unless we REALLY need to.
