Well not exactly a Sienna but, a Highlander. The new design looks pretty good and is more spacious than a 4Runner.

Damn, Rob how the hell did I leave out the actual name of the subject matter? It was in there but, I did a quick revision & a hardly ever proof read and don't use spell check but, damn, the subject vehicle name. Makes me wonder, as I age, what will 50 look like for me. :))

Hmmm .... More spacious. That might be worth a look. There's a 2012 Highlander on one of the local lots.

I call it "sometimers." :anonymous:

Cool on the local Highlander on the lot & the "sometimes". :))

Is ii wrong that I'm grilling burgers & drinking a Corona at 0915 local...and enjoying it? :)). It rained about an inch overnight and we have more on the way so my planned outside work ON MY ONLY DAY OFF will need to be rescheduled until Monday or after.

Joe, Hope you enjoyed your burgers and beer.

Deciphered what you were saying about the Highlanders, the 2014 redesign is what opened up the third row seat and made them more spacious. Wife and I talked it over; she likes the looks of it, but now we're a little hesitant on buying a first year redesign. She's leaning towards holding off on this move a year and readdress next Spring. She's not in that big of a hurry and we'd rather read reviews on the 2014 Highlanders for a year and then look at picking one up or possibly a 2015 next Spring. Thanks for pointing us in that direction. I'll let this one go at her pace ... just means I've got to put up with the Escape for one more year. I'm really not a fan ... about done with Fords ... routine maintenance on them is such a PITA compared to my Tacoma. Oh well, it is what it is.

    Evening/Morning everyone.

Same stuff, different night. Couple of plans to complete, but they were pretty easy. Now to wait out the night. :pccoffee:

    What's happening there?

Pretty much the same stuff different day. Payday though and we got a quarterly bonus this time around which is kinda nice. Now I just need to be responsible and put it all toward paying off debt even though I keep eying things to buy with half of it (and putting the other half to debt or savings). It's kinda slow.

In reality I should put it all toward the loan on the truck buuuuut that probably won't happen.

    Morning / evening guys.

Ya Rob, I don't blame you on the concern with buying first years production. I've got a few buds at work who either use the 2014 Highlander as DDs or their wives use them as DDs. I'll pass along anything they say good or bad about them. I'm not as concerned about first model year products with Toyota or Honda but, why risk it if you're in a position where you can wait. And hey, if the unit you have works & mama is happy why do it, right.

I enjoyed my only day off this week even though the weather was really shitty. It's cold and wet here even this morning (as it was all day yesterday). The rain moved out but we're a good 20 degrees below normal. And of course I didn't get to mow and even after only a few days, the grass already looks like it's ready to bail.

Back to work for me tonight and I'm thinking I might score some more double time days over the next few weeks. I always hate not having 3 days off but, the bastards bait me with cash. Evil bastards! :))

Yep, her call on this one ... I can wait.

Send me some rain, please. Really dry with low humidity ... starting to worry it's gonna be a bad Summer for forest fires up here.

DTOT money would be hard to turn down. Take care Joe, I'll catch you on here tonight.

Work was solid tonight, barely had time to take breaks and lunch.

Thinking about going to go see the new Godzilla movie before the crowds.

Was ok, just ok. I liked Pacific Rim a lot more then this but that's just me. They tried to make too much of a story out of it, rather than just having lots of monster fight scenes which weren't all that great when they finally got there in my opinion.
