So, don't waste theater money and wait for the DVD release? I hate spending theater prices for a so-so or bad movie.

Had a little activity ... computerized load planning system is down due to some database problems. Got to break out my calculator and pencil and go "old school" doing all the calculations. It was actually fun ... I miss the old days sometimes. :) It was not just pallets but a C17 engine transport trailer with engine; so axle computations, fuselage stations for start/stop/cb too. Loadplanned on a C5 leaving later today.

    Evening night stalkers. :D

Little weight and balance action going on there Rob? :)

Beginning June 1, I go to "evening" shift with TWT off working from 2100z to 0730z. I'm hoping it allows me enough rest to be able to spend more time XC running. With those days off, I should also be able to get stuff done around the place and with the parents if needed.

    Yep 34% MAC ;).

I never cared for the swing shift personally. Always seemed like I couldn't go to sleep as soon as I got home, so I'd stay up a few hours. Then sleep 'til mid-morning. Always seemed like time to get ready for work came up too quick. :notsure: Hope it works well for you.

It's been years since I worked swing (evening) shift ... probably close to 18 or 19 yrs ago at RAF Mildenhall. Damn, it doesn't feel like it was really that long ago. There's that "dinosaur" reminder again. :(

It's a toss up but if I waited for the DVD release, which is so quick these days to begin with; I wouldn't be sad.

First night back on graves after a week of jury duty. Was on a case and convicted some stupid chick of felony 2nd degree robbery. Felony conviction for 2 bottles of Absolute peach vodka....wonder if she thinks it was worth it now?

    Welcome back.
I was on a Grand Jury for 3 months about 6 years ago. That was an experience. People do some really stupid shtuff.

EDIT: I was still on active duty at the time. When I got the jury duty pool notification I took it to my flight commander (Major) to let her know. She said she wasn't worried; "with your conservative views, no defense lawyer will ever let you on a jury." When I got picked, I went in and told her I'd be sitting the Grand Jury 2 days a week for the next 3 months, she said, "Crap, I didn't think about that, you're exactly what the DA prosecutor wants on a Grand Jury."

Grandmother insists on mowing her own lawn at 90 yrs young. Her knee is swollen so I told her "don't worry, i'll be up next week and us invalids can have a puzzle fest"!

No I missed the 8 weeks part. But that seems reasonable considering the injury. Heck, a broke arm takes 6 weeks IIRC. Glad you're going home. It'll be good for you and them.

:woot: for puzzles with Grandma. ;)

lol. She's sharp man. Like a tack!
I havn't been home since CHRISTmas. Only planned on spending a week but I got caught in about 14 inches of snow and burned up some vacation time while I was up. (rear locker+snow=no go.) Had a great time though and looking forward to getting back.
