no not really. it will be a while before i do any suspension on the truck. gonna start out with exhausts and stuff like that.

 

Nice . If your schedule allows it and you have the means, a lot of tech schools do some weld classes. Maybe once a week for an hour or so for a month or two. But the nice part about that is it helps the learning curve greatly, and your surrounded by people who are also learning, so that's cool.

The biggest factor is you'll most likely burn way more wire and use way more metal, money wise, than if you paid for that all yourself . It's a pretty good gig

 

I use mine more than any other tool I have. Freakin amazing.

 

i did a big brake swap on a wrx on friday and it got delivered RIGHT as we finished the job. so i havent used it yet haha

 

Yeah I'm gonna start looking there are a few local community colleges that offer classes near me.

 

Ouch. That would have been perfect for the brake job.

Nice! They really do help a lot.

I weld for a living, and you can tell with the new guys who's had some instruction. Hit up the welding thread on here when the time comes too. Lots of guys that know a ton on here. Friendly dudes.

I’m down for a trip north. I have a cheap HF wire feed welder that I’ve messed around with a little. Gotta watch some more YouTube videos
