Yup. My 3 day stay was $37k. Insurance paid everything but $900.
I had to get out of there. Those automatic, self inflating beds were driving me mad. lol

 

yes, the facility i work for we do alot of rehab for all kind of replacements including full knee and hip. we are an in house rehab so usually we keep patients for up to 90 days or less, depending on the patient

 

Sounds like you really enjoy your work.
I just hope I make it to the rehab part instead of the Full hip replacement part.

hmmm depends on the night you ask lol no seriously i love my work, i can never say its boring or it stays the same, every night and every patient is always different.

 

Meh, we all have our days. I don't have to deal with anyone at work. Just sit at my machine. I think I see like 3 people all nite long. I like it like that.

 

yeah same here, small crew for 3rd shift, and its usually pretty calm and quiet.

No, we don't have a suprvsr. on 3rd. I can literally go months without seeing him. (Fine by me, until he does this.) Overtime should be offered to the low man 1st, and calculated daily. He does his weekly! Not usually a problem until a bunch of o/t comes up. Like now for the next 1.5 weeks we are being offered 12's (pays like 15) I'll be high man through all of it.
