Howdy Maner, any more news outta Alaska? Everyone safe 'n sound? Is airport damage gonna delay you headin back? Inquiring minds need to know.

 

So far, minumin injuries. Getting lots of pictures. Very good friend of mines dads house caught on fire and burned, the 911 calls were overwhelming. Mine site initiated our incident command system to start with helping employees that live in Anchorage and surrounding areas get home. Lot of them at the minesite needing to get home to there families. Mine is chartering planes to get them home. I have been on the phone all day with off site employees for assistance to fly in and releave the ones needing to go home.
The road system is a mess

 

We have a number of free dentists and some of our ER docs will do a block for dental pain. They look painful first time or not. Dentists are cheaper than an ER bill almost always. Especially considering that we don’t fix the underlying problem.

But, people don’t listen when you tell them these things.

 

I kinda figured you'd be headmaning all sorts of operations even though you're not there. Gonna be hard to remove & refresh yourself on these days off. Times like this, burnout definitely becomes a factor. Glad the Co. Is pichin in to help out & Gratefull everyone's alive.

 

Yes going to be tough next few days. But I don’t mind.

 

Can't get all the good stuff /fix from the dentist.

Ok, I'm looking at speakers for the Tacoma. It seems they are an odd shape and to run a 6.5", you need adapters for the speakers and wires. I know that a Mazda 3 used Bose 6.5" f/r, 1" tweeters, and a 5 1/4 under driver seat sub with the amp under the passenger seat.

Does anyone know where to get adapters for the tweeters? Do they need the wiring adapter too?

I am not an audiophile, but I noticed some distortion in my lower passenger door speaker. I like Bose(have that as my home speakers) and the Mazda 3 set should do well.

 

If you don't much care about price go with the Taco Tune ones but if you're on a budget go with the Other plastic brands. Try searching Crutchfield for the names. You're fortunate to have a DC. Fitting quality equipment in an AC was a real PITA.

 

The Taco tunes ones would be $144 for a set....not including the tweeter adapters.

This is what I found on Amazon. I think it would suffice. I don't mind spending money, but if I can get the job done for half the price......well
