It's alright. Two more nights after tonight then I go to days for a week Plant shutdown, shutdowns SUCK!

 

Ah the fun of shutdowns... We have 2 going on here but luckily not affecting my plant. The OT would be nice though! Have some new front glass to install tomorrow on my day off

 

Hi rob, im good just been a busy night here, starting to wonder if its a full moon tonight lol how are you doing tonight? Hi rich, how is your leg doing? i read that you have a dr appt tomorrow, hope it goes well..

 

Almost a new moon, maybe that causes oddities too.

All I know is it's time to pull the telescopes out soon, no moonlight = excellent picture taking.

 

We have our plant shutdown next week. They make us reserve 4 days of our vacation at the begining of the year and we get the 4th off.
Fortunately, with me be out currently, I will get those 4 days back if I can make it back to work before Jan 1.
Also get a weeks vacay and an extra personal day in aug for my 15 yrs of service. Again, I wont get to use them unless I make it back.
If not, then they just pay me for them.

I can deal with the hip issues right now, it's the knee that has me worried.

im not sure whats going on Rich but i know its definately been crazy here, no one is sleeping and i have had odd requests all night lol how is your knee looking now? still swollen and bruised? im not sure muffinman, could be due to the new moon, i know when its full it seems theres always something going on out of the norm.

 

Melissa, I agree with you about the full moon, people do get weirder (than they already are).
Hey Rich do you still get the holidays payed while your out?

If you look at the unresized picture you can kind of see the cluster of four stars in the middle of the nebula.

 

Melissa: Yea, still swollen and discolored.
Rob: Not sure about paid holidays since i'm on short term. They are paying me, not G.E. anymore. SO someone is paying.

MUffin: I have a buddy in Hawaii that is severely into astrophotagraphy?
Stacking images and taking pics of koko crater and stuff.
Hes got some super eqpt and we went to high school together.
