That's just under MSRP. The dealership will price it probably 10 to 15 over MSRP.

 

I got my OR for 32.4 or so OTD. I think it may be less but certainly not more. The best I could get on an OR in MT was 41.7 plus fees.

 

If I ever have any extra money, I'll get one. It's pretty low on my "to do" list though.

 

Paint and tape is cheap.

 

It's a Toyota truck. They all look dated compared to any other major manufacturer

 

I'd rather just pay the $173 for a color matched grill from Toyota and be done. My spray can jobs are for coverage only

 

Avoid the hood scoop though. The glare off of it is a bitch

 

Which is a plus to me. I'm not a fan of the "spaceship" direction things are going. I like box shapes

 

And as little frills as possible, which is why I went Tundra instead of the big 3

 

I've never driven one with the scoop. If it's that bad, I'll stick with what I have

 

That's why I drove my TJ for 9yrs. That thing was bare bones. My TPMS light went off the other day when it got below freezing......I had to google what that light meant

 

I do the same with either of our vehicles. The wrench light on the wifes mazda came on the dash recently, and it took me a few minutes to remember it was the oil change reminder.

 

That's another thing that got me. The Maint Required light came on(around 4,500 miles). I change my oil every 5K. My TJ didn't remind me

 

Fuck the skewp.

I have hard enough time waxing my plain hoods, let alone having to detail around the scoop.

 

That and having to deal with getting all the bugs out of it from march-november.

 

Usually the "wrench" symbol is for transmission troubles.

I don't wax my vehicles. I wash them and them use that spray wax at the car wash. I'm actually gonna let someone detail this truck though.
