Some people I can’t stand. So I’d rather step aside so folks that can stand them get more. Just tryin’ to spread the love, that’s all.

 

I need to talk one of them into going to the Hosp over there to wish you a Merry Christmas in person. Be nice if they wouldn’t call but you one there’s going to be a few of them that just have to fuck up a holiday. Nothing like the ER for Christmas.

 

We still have 12 sitting out in the lobby. They must have forgotten to turn off the "Open" sign

 

Kinda wishing I could get out of the family Christmas party tomorrow night. They all want to play dirty Santa and all that bs. How about we just eat and go the fuck home. I don’t mind being around my mom and pop it’s just the rest of them. Still trying to think of something to get out of it. Have to work Christmas Day this year which I wish was Christmas Eve instead. Christmas is my Mom’s birthday too.

 

Oh and we don’t get holiday pay. Just the same old overtime as usual. Wait I forgot they did change that. We get 8 extra hours of straight time because they can’t seem to figure out we work 24 hours instead of the 8 the rest of the County does.

 

We get time and a half from 12a-12a on the 25th only. I'm working the 24th and 25th, so I'll get all 12 hrs and then go into OT on Wed night

 

I think they may give us 8 hours for Monday too since it’s a county holiday. We get some holiday pay even if we’re not working. It used to all be lumped into our vacation instead. I’d rather be off than get paid extra. Older I get the less I want to be there dealing with idiots. I’ll flat out tell some well I can give you a $1000 ride to the Hosp if you’d like but there is literally nothing I can do for you. You need a doc not an ambulance. Then they say well we’ll get in quicker if you take us. Game on bitches, as I walk them out to the lobby.

 

I'm always like this vvvvvv when I see ambulance riders go out to the lobby

Same shit different day; did Christmas with the two little meatballs yesterday morning since I’m working Xmas eve. Unfortunately, my wife volunteered to host an Xmas eve dinner with her family at our house.
