Saw a fully ARB rigged out FJ today. They were clearly ready for the zombie apocalypse

 

I got to looking at used FJ's the other night. It seems those and T4R's are the same price. What would be the reason for going FJ? I think I'd rather have the T4R. I know the FJ has a manual xfer case, but that really wouldn't make a huge difference to me.

 

Set up any appointment for first thing in the morning the day you work off. I always set mine for Thursday mornings.
And Walmart is always open

 

I believe the 4r does as well. All but the limited.

But I think the fj has a center diff

Yeah, I certainly wouldn’t buy one as my daily driver. I think my fun car when the house is paid off will be a 996 or c6/7 vette; may have to throw another garage or two on though.

 

I almost got a 996 years ago. But I was responsible and got a truck instead. Ra grets.


And @gixxerphil I believe only the premium trims have the electronic t case. I know the Off road is a manual t

 

My best friend bought a new c5 right after he graduated law school. He didn't keep it long at all. He's a real down to earth kinda guy. He has a 93 Bronco and 97 2 door Tahoe. He's a partner in a damn good firm, but just doesn't care about "luxury" stuff.
