yep definately agree, i told my aunt we need to restock her lake with some large cats and maybe they will have a chance to replenish, but im not so sure if the bass just keep eating the small ones. yes she was told the same thing about the carp and we both agreed the year and 1/2 was better than the alternative.

 

I think I am going to net off a small area for the next batch of cats I buy and feed them until the get 8 to 10 inches before I release them. Larger catfish are so darn expensive.

 

that sounds like a good idea, that idea may definately work. i dont think i have ever looked at the price of fish to buy for stocking, but i know a friend of mine is a game warden here and he says they do get expensive.
