Morning! My truck got towed yesterday while I slept in my apartment complex. It was supposedly on a no-tow list according to an e-mail with the apartment complex manager but that didn't stop the tow truck.

 1st shift to 3rd shift turn in same day. :puke: You get any special/incentive pay when you do that?

    :woot:

But of course ... "Murphy's Law" ... or "Sods Law" as the English say, or so I was told whilst living in the UK. Apparently they aren't fond of the Irish. :notsure:

Morning and Happy 4th to you too! :oldglory:

    x2 :(

Don't blame you ... sounds like some BS to me.

Evening folks ... almost no work tonight ... holiday weekend norm for the most part. We did a Buffalo Wild Wings run ... may have been a tactical error; could sure take a nap with me full belly. Better get another cup of coffee.

So I called the tow company last night and asked that they bring my truck back. They refused. I called back again 10 minutes later after I cooled down to see if I could pick it up before work last night she called her truck drivers to see when they'd be available to meet me at the lot and called me back. They were all busy so I told her I'd be by in the morning after work at 9am to pick it up and had a coworker pick me up so I didn't have to deal with a cab. I shot an e-mail off the the apartment complex manager and his boss about the situation but they were closed and closed for the 4th too, and I doubted they checked their e-mail at 10pm at night or whatever it was.

Fast forward to this morning my coworker offers to take me to I-70 and Washington after work to get my truck since it's on his way home. We get to that area can't find the place so I call the tow company for directions. The same lady answers and is like oh your apartment manager called and we took the truck back to your apartment complex... and she didn't call me to tell me.

Luckily my friend was ok with driving me 14 miles back to my apartment in the opposite direction of where he lives.

What a hassle and just get me the hell out of here!!

Supposed to, but the union won't enforce it. Honestly I don't know how the union president stays out of jail for not upholding the contract:confused: Never was a big fan of unions, damn sure ain't one now.
Have a good independence day weekend!:D

:woot: :yay:  Reading this post makes my 4th! Sincerely so very happy for you!

Don't forget to tell your Grams she has a fan in Alaska. Ya'll have a shot or beer together for me! :D :woot: :woot: :woot:

x2 take your count on the right side of the equation. And absolutely get that beer! ;)

:( the union doesn't do right by you. I never was a union fan either ... But have to admit our union on base does a pretty good job by us. Lucky I guess.

But heck with all that ... Enjoy your weekend man! :D
