I run 500-700 lbs when I go for my long trips. 1100 was my heaviest. GMVW I was still fine.


One trip I do regularly is all shale. If you think a few more ply is going to save you, you're kidding yourself. Bring a spare . Repair or replace damaged tires. Pretty simple.
