Funny story. Did I ever tell you guys about the time I was running around with the sparkies in Jacksonville by chance?

 

Curious to know what this has to do with maggots... go on

 

Long story short. All other houses were busy except one . Which is saying a lot because there's like 12 in metro alone. Call was a shotgun wound to the upper leg. We hauled ass. The other rig beat us by a minute . Scene was deescalated. Got out of the truck and the cap't told me to go in, which was weird to begin with.

Come to find out, they just wanted to see the new guys face as I walked through the gate in the yard (in the ghetto ). The gate was about 15'-20' from the house. Front door was open. Very large momma screaming frantically inside.

I hit the gate, my eyes started to water instantly. Instant smell of ammonia. By the time I hit the door I was wiping my eyes.

Inside was gentleman around 19ish. Resting comfortably on a couch. Had a set of pins rigged all the way up his leg. Previous shot gun wound shattered his leg. As the mother was being calmed down so we could understand her, she points to his leg.

Maggot crawled right out from where one of the pins were. That was the call. At that point we had to explain that they could take a very expensive ambulance ride to the hospital and have the maggots removed. But the maggots posed no threat and wee actually cleaning the wound. She had to verify this with about 6 guys there before she believed us.

Her response ; that's gross.


No lady, your house is rotting from filth and is one match from blowing up. That is gross. Haha. The maggots, they're chill .

 

Anyone find it funny, SOS is doing a sale that starts the minute Valintines day is over??? btw, happy singles day to all us that arnt with someone! just remember, no one loves us every other day so why should today be any different?

 

I can never understand how some people live in such filth.. I'd probably get some mad heebie jeebies if there was a maggot crawling out of me. I wouldn't call a fucking (wooaoahh black betty) ambalance for it though.

The one thing that will make me yak though is shit. I can do blood, guts, vomit, whatever. Just not shit. Probably something to do with how I'm 26 and have never changed a diaper in my life.

SOS is a company that does armor for trucks. I kind of like their streamline bumper but i can get it cheaper thru SSO with a light cutout. but of course, i have to adult and pay other things first before i do a bumper.
