:( here too. We had planned fishing in Cook Inlet for halibut based on a good fishing tide, but it's now confirmed the forecasted sea state is shutting us down for that. Looked at a return to Copper River for more Salmon, but the water level is still too high for that as well. Looks like I'll save my 18 hrs for another time and cancel my Tue/Wed leave. Oh well, guess it is what it is; can't fight the weather, or at least it's not wise to try. ;)

We had a little power outage, lasted about 20 mins, but it looks like everything came back on line with no issues.

Ya'll should be home and sleeping well by now, 1 hour to go for me.

Those on their weekend enjoy and stay safe; those still working take care and stay safe as well. Catch ya'll Tuesday night.

Better, I called in Friday and pretty much just relaxed, slept, relaxed from Thursday during the day until Sunday morning and then I moved. Laying around and getting 3 nights of good sleep really helped. Moving did not help but at least it's done and my back feels ok and I'm not walking all hobbled over like I was the past few days.

Getting a bad case of wanderlust now that I'm in an apartment again after two weeks of camping. I find myself budgeting for a long 3-6 month trip on the motorcycle maybe going to Alaska, then flying the bike to Japan then down to Australia and then over to New Zealand and back home.

Then I catch myself drawing a line across the map including Russia/Mongolia or China/Mongolia then west through whichever non-war zone exists in the 3-7 years it takes me to save up for a trip like this to Europe, the UK and then back home.

Then I think about using that cash as a down payment on a house.

    Choices choices.

And of course school. I'm trying to go back to school which would be debt that could be spent on this trip....
