Hey kids - last thing I needed the first thing this morning was a 'warno' from my deputy saying the Colonel is promising outcomes and quick turn-around on about 200 items we collected at a townhall; gripes - most legitimate but impossible to fix, some illegitimate from the perspective of everyone-who-isnt-the-one-complaining. Those are the hardest issues to fix; convincing somebody the Army does not, in fact hate them, and we havent reno'd their housing soley because we can't spend money we dont have - and NOT because we simply want them to personally suffer.

We used to call things GOBI's. General Officer Bright Idea. At brigade level, it's COBI. I asked the deputy to get a handle on 'his boss'. He laughed, then sighed.

And fwiw, jalepenos are a gift from the gods. They go well on almost everything...except my pecker when I pee after slicing them without washing my hands. In that case they remind me of Korea. And Thailand. :sigh:

That’s skinny dipping weather for us! Going home to a foot plus of snow from the other day. Luckily we left the car in a covered parking garage.

 

Easily . We hit above freezing in March is flip flop, shorts and hoodie weather
