Wow, nice! My buddy’s been on for 12 years and has no desire to move up because of bs politics. They do written tests over there like they do out here? I’ve been with the state for 11 years, 5 here in probation dept; I’ll have to take a pay cut to switch to prob off but it will get me off nights with holidays and weekends off.

 

yeah we do written test and then top 6 get a interview. I know how your fiend feels I some times wonder if I want to move up anymore after Sgt.

 

I did that at my last job and was done... didn’t want to go to shittier days/shift for a title and like 5k...

 

Yeah that is why I like night shift less day shift drama.
