    Doing quick math, that thing will only discharge our truck battery 50% over a 48 hour time span. If the thing is kept closed, the compressor will run even less.

    Once you get it, set it up in the garage and hook it to a deep cycle battery. I bet it would run for a week on 1 battery charge.

    The only thing I don't know is how well they are insulated. I would make my own. That one shown wont do much but protect it from getting scratched.

    I'm still an ice man. I like having ice for my drinks. I can see the advantage of that, though.

    This is just for keeping my insulin at a constant temp. I damn sure don't want to be that far from home and have something happen. My insulin is $300 a bottle if not gotten at my work pharmacy.
