im bout to get there. haha. looking at remote start with the phone module. FL is tooooo damn hot in the summer to not have the ac run for a few minutes first. plus, when im deployed, i can start my truck while on a port call for a few minutes to let it run then turn it back off.

oh, im also bout to order a HD-1 with mic, jumbospot, and a bluetooth TNC.

 

I'm gonna have to put the bike on hold. There's a few things I need for the Moab trip that have to take priority.

 

lucky i want to go!!!!!! i kind of want to get like a group trip out there one these years i can get away from work. and after i do some stuff with the truck.

32 st is the main base SD south of the coronado bridge. spent some time there for training on the "dry" side.

 

I want ARB bumper, sliders, ARB skids(I don't need the thick ones), decked bed system, and I'm sure a few more things

and parking will be a nightmare (depending when you work).... just a heads up. cuz parking in that area is also for sailors on the ships in the drydocks right next to the bridge.

 

where do you live? theres a tram stop right in that area. and i think they do have a section for contractors only down there. thats if your outside the base at general dynamics or w/e its called. they do all the work for the ships in the yards. if its actaully on the base. then it shouldnt be bad at all. they like to have strict parking spots for people so its easier to find places most the time.

 

i cant remember where that is... been a year since i was last there at the base. and 11 since i lived there.

 

hmm. ok. now you said both 32nd st and coronado. both those are different bases btw. 32 st, best bet would be run I-5 to i think 28th st. ish. i know its 2 exits north of the in and out burger south of that area. haha. used to go there for lunch all the time. if your working over at coronado, then not sure best way to get there.
