It was good. Saw a bunch of old friends I’ve gotten to know over 21 years of working it. It was probably the hottest it’s ever been out there today. We of course were in full uniform with long pants in dark blue. I scored some free swag too so that’s always a plus.

    What's your cylinder ratio?

(How many gas powered tools do you have)?

I bought a battery powered lawnmower this year to avoid more engine maintenance this winter

Lol. I don’t. But, I still hate winterizing all the engines every fall/winter. I don’t mind taking care of the dirt bikes and the fun engines. I find the rest of it to be tedious on top of all the other pre-winter chores.

Meh, a little non-ethanol gas with some sta-big run through the carbs for a few minutes does the trick. I like gas engines versus my electrics, feel like I get more done without worrying about recharging

You’re totally right. Having a gas edger/weed whacker, chainsaw, tiller, brush hog, tractor, and push mower was great when I had acreage. But, my mission profile has changed.

For my postage stamp yard that I have now I got rid ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL that shit and find the electric stuff to be more convenient. My batteries last about an hour and a half and charge over an hour. That’s more than I will need for this place.

Why does everything typed on a forum sound like an argument? I swear to @koditten that I am rarely arguing.

I reread stuff I’ve typed on here and it looks confrontational and I rarely see stuff other people have typed as confrontational. Huh.

Different strokes for different folks bruh. You have your ideals, others have theirs. The glory of this great nation is that the properly educated* can agree to disagree. I loves me some fossil fuel burners for my 1.5-2ish acres; but can appreciate the use of electrics for smaller properties.

Did you just refer to @koditten as Christ?!?

I'm way overpowered for what I have to cut with a zero turn but it sure is fun cutting the yard in 15 or so minutes. I can appreciate the quietness of electric and seen some that work well. You just have to keep it cut down low with the battery powered units. I'll wait sometimes and let it grow up and it would be a nightmare trying to cut it with a battery powered mower. I cut mine at 4" and usually cut it once a week. Sometimes I'll let it go for 2 but the mower could care less. I cut the yard across the street when it was repo'd because the damn bank wouldn't cut it and I was tired of seeing the shit. Not to mention all the snowballs floating over to land in my yard and spread the weeds.
