hey, the beatings will continue until the moral improves not a hole lot. got like 3 hrs of sleep, now standing 4 hrs of watch. and mayne ill be lucky to get 2 more afterwards before operations kick off the day... if not, then i might get a little cranky.

Also bout to pull the trigger and 3 diff orders. 1 for 2 more dmm ram mounts, 1 for the remote start with phone module, then lastly, my HD1 order with some extra goodies from Amazon.

 

Haha. Rite. I do not miss the “fire watch and CQ duty” in the Army. Granted, it was good stuff at times.

Hell, I’m with yea on the sleep thing. I cussed many a higher ranking than me before, because of no sleep.

Whatcha using the rams for?

 

to hold more/better gear then whats in our smallboats.. haha. Ive got 1 right now for my phone (i have the DMM). but getting another 2 for my ham radio faceunit and another for the tablet so i can link my APRS to it and such. or have a spare one for passenger phone. got a wedding end of aug and im prob going to drive up so this way i can play around with everything during the trip and figure out a nice configuration and such.

I have something similar in my Jeep. I use the bar and ram mounts for the phone mostly, but do have a set up to attach the iPad as well. Then throw the garmin glo BT GPS receiver on the dash or tuck it up under the soft top, so the iPad can run it stuff.

Well sadly, the government does not want me to purchase a remote start atm... stupid web blocks... well, ill just order it next time im in a port somewhere.

ive got 2.5 more hours of watch. joy. be back in a few. have to config one the computers in the back room.

Nice, i was just shy of 15k when i left end of april. and i bought it end of aug with 140 ish on it.

Well shit, i wish i had a taco at 10....

 

grew up in oregon. so had ok tacos. though best tacos i had where in san diego. there use to be a place out towards point loma, had 2 stores. 1 was like a ran down mobil home with a drivethru place was awesome. another place i liked was just north of the staduim by the walmart. forget the name of it. atleast now i kind of have ok access to good cuban food. best for that was key west. both the resturants and my buddies wife was cuban so he made alot of different stuff. funny watching a AL redneck cook cuban food better then his wife haha.

 

I bought mine three years ago with 2 miles on the odometer. I’ve been contemplating about trading it in for a 19 SR5 in cement grey.
