I did see a post somewhere on here where someone made a little hole/door thing on the tailgate plastic right in front of the latch, that way if it fails, you can pop that open and unlock it with a screwdriver if that's your thing.

Yeah, pulling the trigger on it now from Amazon. I'll just come crying in here when it breaks.

Gonna get that center console organizer and some fender flare clips while I'm at it.

I was just thinking that. Damnit.
I've had the console organizer in my 'saved for later' since I've had the truck.
Need fender clips so I can pull em off and bed line em. I know I'll end up breaking most of the clips

Sounds like a nice trip. I want to get my ass back to Michigan/The North for a visit one of these days.

Any of you guys bedlined fender flares?

Wondering if it'd be easier to just tape em off and spray em while they're still on the truck. Mostly worried about screwing up that trim piece when I pull em off.

I pulled off my fender flares to do the snorkel and busted a ton of the little screw in clips. I ended up replacing them all to the tune of like $14. I didn't screw up anything else. Next time I will just buy all new clips and destroy/drill out the installed ones as they are such a pain (even with the special tool).

Yeah, I already ordered the blue/orange clips from Amazon. $10.99 or something like that. The trim stuff is about $35 for 25 feet.

I got it while the price was dropped. Should get here Tuesday. I'll just install it and fix it/remake it whenever it breaks

Last night of vacation, gonna get hammered. Too much time constantly together with people that you’re forced to get along with through marriage along with 5 AM wake ups is not good for my sanity.
