As far as I’m concerned, it is wrong. Only the Gov’t can get away with it. Glad I’m all done with that song ‘n dance. Biggest whammy was when they finally paid it out, the union took a nice chunk just to say goodbye.

So apparently I'm expected to look out at the schedule months in advance because it's 'assumed' I'll cover shit when my counterpart takes vacation.
At least I ask if she's cool with it and CC her on the request I send to the shop lead. I guess I'm not doing that anymore.

Looks like she pulled the same shit in November and December where I'm going to get boned with a 7+ day week.

Yeah, I guess runnin it by you just to get the nod might be beneath her. Find out her birthday & make sure to call in sick so she can work the double. Shoot, just make it a yearly event then.

Nah, I'll get over it. Just a bit peeved right now. The gym session in 2.5 hours should alleviate that.

Maybe I'll leave a passive aggressive note in the shift log.

Mornin fellas. Had to call out last night. Younger son came down with hand foot mouth from the cesspool of daycare. Home all day with him figuring out what big ticket items to get during MA’s tax free weekend.
