Working an 8 then I drive to Phoenix, only 840 miles or so on 4 hours of sleep.

Morning Rob, how have you been ? Seems like forever since I have been on to chat with the night crew, been back in the hospital with mom, but hopefully this last procedure she had will work.

 

2 more hours then sleepy time Just now getting a chance to eat lunch 10 hours into my shift lol Gotta love batch plants

 

Hah, boiler plant for the win. Nothing happens unless another unit goes down and swings us hard. Then I have to put my phone down and eyeball some gauges to make sure nothing goes in the red.

I'm gonna be HURTIN on Wednesday. Get off a 12 hour shift, catch a plane to San Diego, pack the wife up into a Uhaul, drive up whenever we get done so I'm back up here (10 hour drive) in case I get called in for Standby.

Yayyyyyy....

 

Yeah, its been awhile. We're getting our first good snowfall of the year. Twenty five minute drive turned into forty five Gotta love it

Everybody's gettin' snow but me. We could actually use some snow. Things are getting too dry and dusty. Noticed local lakes are iced over. Hope we get an insulating layer of snow down before the sub-zero hard ground freeze hits.

 

Got to creep out a 1.25 hr nap over an extended lunch today; I feel alive again! Though we'll see how it holds up. I might just go home and crash for a few hours before heading out. Driving tired sucks.

This is the last night for us running the plant until the Monday after Thanksgiving. Running or not, I'll still be here for 2 more nights.

 

Last night for me till Sunday! Hoping to catch a nap if I get tired here pretty soon.

Hello, fellow night crawlers. Been reliesed from the day shift and now am starting my next 2 weeks of the night shift. Glad to be back and actually posting during the correct posting hours. don't feel so much like a lurker now.
