but a plus side for us is we are out less then the navy on a yearly avg. but over the course of 2-3 years its equal. (sorry jody)

well seeing as how your truck is your BF, i can understand. my just glad my truck wont get jealous when i get another motorcycle and ride it more then i drive the truck.

 

ya. pretty much. hence why i didnt go either. had people try to talk me into diver since i dive rec, but i enjoy it too much to do it for work.

 

Well my truck won't cheat on me so....I figured it would be my best bet

 

I've always wanted to learn to dive.... But money and time seem to be an issue for me

its fun. i learned while stationed in Alaska (yes i have a dry suit). Since then i havent dove too much. hoping to get back into it. good why to keep in shape. hopefully one these days i can get my instructer cert so i can teach friends and such.

Very cool! Yeah I've always wanted to learn. My dad did it in the Marines.... Along with jumping....I wanted to do his job, but wasn't born the right sex.

 

so i'm thinking about quitting my job - working for the govt. It's kinda nuts because 9 years I can retire (at 56), but i'm exhausted. I want to live where i want to live and not try to find an assignment in a place that is sorta-close. I'm a little tired of making-do with whatever happens. Anyone hiring in CO, WY, MT, ID, Eastern WA? (sigh).

When I was little I would watch his unit some times. I thought it was awesome! Hell I still do, but after 31 years in the Marines he finally retired back in 2009.
