    I'm pretty stoked even though I'm back on shift work. I got 3 officers under me and they all seem pretty squared away already. In 2 weeks, I haven't had to deal with any issues with them.

    me too! I was a bit stressed when I first got promoted because it's been almost 10 year since I held any sort of supervisory position, and there's a lot more responsibility that comes with it here. But like you said, good people make it easier.

    well, it has hit 48 degrees. i have 3 shirts on, gloves, beenie, jacket and an lbv with bullet proof vest with a bunch of crap on it and i am still freezing!!! Not to mention I have not been on my boat at the Tiki bar in over a week. hopefully winter will end this week sometime!!!!!!!
