good morning night crew, looks like this thread has been quiet for a few days now.

Looks like it might be done now ... See if I can get some work done finally.

 

Just sitting here reading! Nothing much going on! Hoping my relief will someday show up at least on time, after I've been showing up 10-15 minutes early almost every shift since I started here lol. I even brought the dude a small fries two days ago since he always asks if I brought him some when I bring bags of food in...the following morning he was 10 minutes late. Sigh.

 

Boss just caught me sleeping. dang it.

 

That 10 minutes at the end of a midnight shift feels like 2 hours.

15 minutes and I'm gone. Be back in 12.

 

Working from Michigan today. Am in town for an extended family reunion but couldn't get the night off so I have to work remotely which isn't bad.

I wish I could do this all the time and live wherever I could get reliable internet....

 

Whatever happened to "anything less than 15 mins early is late"? I picked that up somewhere, not sure if it was the Air Force or before , but I drilled it into my own two sons ... seems like a lost principle any more.

Wellllllllllll, I have 12 aunts and uncles on that side of the family NOT including marriages (so 22 or 23 total) and 32 cousins. Most of them will be there on Saturday.

 

With all them peoples ... there's gotta be a few worth seeing and hanging with.

Last midnight shift for a while. Start the day shift Sunday morning. Gonna be weird for the first couple days.

"What is this bright, painful discharge from the sky?!! Make it stop!"

I don't really notice a big difference between the day/night shifts. I just look at it as going to work really, really early...12 hrs early

 

howdy folks working on my 5th hour od a 16 hour day today!!!

 

Spent last 5 hrs processing moose. Quick 2 hr nap and back to work ... Hope it's slow tonight.

Thats just wrong, and twisted. For some reason I had to laugh.

I think I will go with this one for a while. As I make progress, I'll change it to show the next step. Kind of give me some incentive to get off my ass and get something done. Won't be much change in the near future with the holidays and all.
