How much is one of those vests?

 

In Texas they have to have a specific sign(s) on their doors for us to not carry inside their stores. Them putting up signs like this:

DOESN'T fly.

Buffalo Wild Wings doesn't like people caring concealed in their store here, but I still do because they do not have the proper signage.

 

For a level 3 vest (concealed armor) starts at around $550 and goes up

 

Those signs don't mean shit in Alabama
They can ask you to leave and if you don't , then they can get you for trespassing.

 

See, that's the problem. Our gubment will give money to people to sit on their ass, but won't protect it's employees.

 

They mean shit in Texas too. First off.... I'm carrying concealed. How the fuck would they know I'm carrying? They all me to leave they better have a damn good reason

 

Military wise I have some great gear. Civilian side....meh. I have a decent looking uniform lol

 

I've never had one ask me to leave. If they do, I have no problem spending my monies elsewhere

Except in Aurora, I think? The whole Denver area has different laws for guns. I just avoid the place altogether.

But again if it's concealed... How would they know you are carrying? And yes if they all you too leave and you don't it's now trespassing....a totally different law at that point

But even local authorities are paid by tax payers. They should have the appropriate equipment, especially a dangerous job.

 

Eeeew..... Stinky vests.... I'll pass. Besides, the age of the best comes into play, how often was it soaked in sweat, etc.... Because vests break down over time and lose their integrity

 

Yes but everything is based on budget. And honestly I would rather not have to pay more in property taxes.

 

Exactly. They'd only ever know you were carrying if you did something stupid and flashed/printed in front of them or something. I've never had anyone ask me to leave, even when OCing. I do tend to avoid places that don't allow OC when I am though.

 

They should have to make their budget work. We do. There is wasteful spending at all levels of the gubment.

 

Yeah, bit of a gamble with that...

Maybe plead your case with a vendor or something and see if they can work with you.
