lame. im reading up on ovtunes TT and SC kits. saw mag and another company finally released the deets on their setups. looks like i need to add another 6500 to my build cost for some zoom zoom

 

Do the 3rd gens really need one or is it just a "want"? I know the 4.0's aren't the fastest, but I have no complaints.

Gotcha. The GSXR is the only thing I've ever owned that had any speed.
I just see all the threads about people complaining on the 3rd gen and wasn't sure. My buddy has 5.29's with an OV tune and loves his on 285's. I wasn't sure if those threads are from people that expect their truck to run like a sports car. I use to read threads on Wrangler Forum about the same shit. People just couldn't understand a Jeep didn't need a shit ton of HP.

 

its not bad. could use some more power. though when it rains i can break my ass loose easily. and im looking at the tune for the better milage. ever since i did the roof rack it has been shot. use to get 18ish on the free way, now i get around 15-16. first thing i do when i get home is take the cases off. been awhile since i wheeled so i dont need all that gear up there all the time. esp since im installing the bumpers when i get back so that will add a little weight but will give me my winch finally.

 

also, i cancelled all my ideas on things to buy this underway (except a SBR). saving up to get my GSXR running this inport so i can cut down the miles on the truck.
