Busy night. Speaking of W2s I should get mine at the end of this month. I'm hoping to buy a Brute Force HC rear bumper with the refund.

Busy nights go quick at least. My refund will be going towards my debts.

I figured it was some kind of dig at the LC

I had PRK corrective. At some point I'll probably need glasses again but not yet. :fingerscrossed:

My doc told me this time I had signs of cataracts and would eventually need it. I told him I accepted things years ago with having diabetes. He said it wasn't a big deal and my diabetes wasn't the cause, it just helped speed it up :D

Ah, well that's unfortunate. At least you're at terms with it and they have surgeries to fix it.

ya no thank you. been to portsmouth for training at the main ET area there for the coast guard. That area has WAY to much military for me. another reason i enjoy the coast guard, some out units are in the middle of no where and we are the only military around.

I will never figure out why people hang around after shift to chit-chat.
When 0700 hits, I'm gone. Any second I'm here after the end of my shift annoys me more and more.

Poor guy. Hopefully he can find some relief.

Not even halfway through working 11 days in a row because of her and I just had my counterpart ask me to cover another day for her in February. For fuck's sake.
If I do it, I'll have time in Feb where I work four on, one off, eight on, one off, four on. Instead of the four on, two off, seven on, one off, four on that I'd already be doing. This lady's gonna have a helluva time when I find a new job.

he fell asleep watching Disney+ on the couch so we’re good for now.

sounds like your place needs to hire some more people than expect you to cover for this person all the time... what happens if you’re covering for them and you get sick?

    Ah, good stuff lol.

They definitely do. We still only have two people per shift, I think they're training someone for swing shift though..

If I get sick while covering then one of the days people will have to swap to nights, most likely. Both of our days people work Mon-Fri but one of them is the "lead" so he "doesn't count".
