I consider it a investment. I also have had cheaper dash cam and they didn't last worth a shit. So.... In willing to pay for something that lasts

Yeah, I have a ROAV right now. If it ever breaks, I'll probably replace it with something that'll do front/rear and maybe interior, too.
I've seen the OwlCam thing and that looks pretty neat for 24/7 monitoring.

Yeah, from the pictures I've seen, it looks like you have to mount it at the base of the windshield and that's pretty annoying, I'd rather have it up top and out of the way. My ROAV is up top but I'm a dumbass and stuck it right behind my rear view mirror so that's annoying but my own damn fault lol

Why don't you like it behind your rear view mirror?

    Who the hell are you?

The mirror is big enough and in the way as it is.. I put it right behind it, too so I have to move the mirror to mess with any of the controls and the mirror sits crooked when I get it to where I like it. I should've moved it off center a little bit more or put it on the passenger side of the mirror. If I can find another 3M sticky thing, I might see about moving it. I'm not sure how much of a PITA it's going to be to pull that off without leaving sticky stuff on the windshield.

Lemon essential oil gets rid of sticky stuff. It also removed permanent marker off of things
