Flipping back to nights tonight, work a stretch starting tomorrow night: 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 2 off, 4 on. I'll probably try to pick up some shifts on those 2 off days but we'll see. Wife needs a new(er) car, her econobox 08 Mazda's trans noise is increasing, CV joints sound like they're going, and ABS stopped working this last ice storm. Only 131k on her current Mazda and I'm not impressed with it. They also don't do a great job plowing the roads here either during snow storms so AWD is on the list. Since we moved to Northern Idaho those things are rapidly increasing in importance. She hates driving so I drive 90% of the time on trips (and she can't drive M/T's so taking the Taco is out unless I do all the driving which gets old on long road trips, family lives in Denver, Phoenix, and Michigan mostly) and I get some say on the new car decision.

    Short list:
Hyundai Kona Limited with the turbo engine and awd, also cheap but with a great warranty - 29k as equipped
Subaru outback onyx xt with turbo engine (freaking hate the on screen climate control bullshit, also I hate CVT's) - 37k equipped
Subaru crosstrek - 26.2k Equipped (Cvt's and middling performance for the mpg's)
    Rav4 (awd system sucks though) - 36k
Prius with the electric AWD assist - 30k (no roof racks, mildly annoying and AWD system is mediocre)

No European brands, prefer roof racks for bicycles, no big SUV's, no pickups, AWD/4x4 required. I suggested a jeep renegade but she shot that down.

Gotta open MS Paint and then control+v to paste it into a picture after you control+print screen first.

Simpler way for windows 7 and newer is to open a program called snipping tool then you can screen shot parts of things, windows, or the whole screen via the mode button in the app.

I crawled under the truck to change the belt a few days ago and the month it's lived outside in northern ID has caused more rust then 6 years in Colorado.
