    All of the other jobs I find are shift work, too so that's no help. I need to go get a degree or something to help me find a 'normal' day job.

    I wouldn't mind nights as much if I was on my own. I'd just blackout the apartment and stay on nights 24/7.

    mine made me quit one job, down to 6 nights a week, starting march - 5 nights. I am hoping to do only 4 a week and go back to school. My wife comes back from nightshift and she is wornout! me - Ive ran 4 shifts in a row with no sleep. hallucinating sucks tho

    Lol. A degree would give me some sort of skill/knowledge that isn't in a line of work based around 24/7 operations and shift work.

    I run sleep studies for sleep disorders
    Mine works nightshift too and says would never work days as a nurse bc its hectic during the day. I am trying to switch to EEG but pay is less and its more people to deal with.
