Eight years? Is that by choice or do they just not like you?

Three different state jobs with a few stints of 3-11 mixed in. I keep this schedule at the newest place so I can have weekends off.
    And no management at night.

also works out for taking care of the kids.

No management at night is key, it's one of the reasons I stay.

It gets better after the 20yr mark. Maybe it was the 10 yr one? Meh, I’m a night owl and would rather be up at night than day.

I like driving overnight if we travel down to my family in MD/VA. seems quicker and can usually just set the cruise and listen to a podcast or audiobook

Yeah I spent the first ten years on my career on nights. Nights is where it's at. This shift gets old, but it's still better than days.

Inused to like that also till we got the camper. Would rather travel in daytime with it. But if we’re just taking the truck then get there by daylight is the way I like it.
