It wouldn't bother me so much, if someone with admin rights was available on night shifts to make the corrections in a timely manner; as it is, I have to work around the issues until someone can be scheduled to come in and fix my problem. Oh well, long as I get a pay check.

    Hello all!!

I mentioned a while ago that there was a potential for me to be moving to a M-F dayshift job. Well I was offered the position and took it. After 16 years of shiftwork I'm switching teams!! :)

It won't be right away but once I get my replacement in here and trained up, I can start my new position. It is going to be a big adjustment but I'm ready for the change.

    Hello, all.

I see I'm not the only one who get the keys to the place on the weekend.

Lets try and make it fun if we can.

meh ... Finished my one load plan an hour and a half ago. Just waiting out the clock now. Watching a movie, "Assault on Precinct 13," and eating my White Castle cheeseburgers and tater tots. Easy money tonight.

:gossip: Not a bad gig, if I'm complaining somebody needs to :smack: me. ;)

Not bad at all. Sounds like when I was at plant but I was on dayshift. Clock barely moved. Had to attempt to look busy. 4 day workweek at 37.5 hrs a week no ot. Cant believe I lasted 4 yrs there. I hurt more then than I do now. Have to stay moving.
Haven't had white castle since 1989.:pout:

That's why I work the night shift, no management reindeer games. Got more than my fill of those on active duty. Mid-shift crew has our own code; when there's work we take care of business, when there's not we chill. Military airlift business is always on or off depending on the mission schedule.

No White Castle joints up here; wife buys the freezer packs from Safeway when they are on sale. They're not bad for what they are; 60 mins a 2-pack in the microwave--quick and easy. ;)

Making me hungry and I'm still full from last night.
Going to slice up some smoked sausage today for a pot of jambalaya. front blew in last night. Makes me wonder about feeder time. Friday night was the opportune time. Oh well.

Gotta let Friday night go brother. There'll be another opportunity. ;)

Made some jambalaya from moose keilbasa sausage last weekend; it was delicious.

I think I'm finally gonna try making some salmon chowder this break. Need to dig up the recipe.
