Weak in more than one way? :notsure:

 we're doing that dual thread thing again. It's the virtual equivalent of walking from the garage into the house and going "hey didn't I just see you in the garage?"

Surely Vegas has some kind of greasy spoon joint with similar menu?

I'm not disrespecting Waffle House; grew up eating that stuff ... Best hashbrown potatoes ever.

I was over on the Solstice forum. Some kid in CT spent every penny he had on a Solstice GXP, manual. Never drove a manual before. Can barely afford the insurance ($2000 deduct.) and to top it off he's driving it in the snow.:notsure:
I told him how to put it in competition mode:devil:

Oof, got a set of snow tires. First set of snow tires ever but all the snow Denver's been getting lately is not playing nice with my half-worn stock Dunlop AT20's especially if I go up into the mountains skiing. Put them on a set of rims I bought last summer from a guy out here so they'll be easy to swap out in the spring at least.

    How's everyone else's weekend going?

Shopping on Friday. A run to the dump, 'cause I'm to cheap to pay for curbside pickup. Bought and loaded the Taco with a 1000# of wood pellets today, on top of the 400# of weight that was already in there:D Also new windshield wiper blades and finally put on this years registration sticker, only two months late:rolleyes:

Programmable TPMS for the extra rims and new lugs sucked to buy but now it'll be quick and easy to swap out the regular tires for winter ones or vice versa if I'm going on a trip or something. Having just bought an air compressor and impact gun I'm constantly finding things to use it on to make life easier. :D

Of course now that I bought winter tires it won't snow again this season... Maybe. (Denver gets most of it's snow in March/April)

Lol. A bunch of us here at work used to ride every friday morning after work.
A younger guy who had never ridden or even drove a manual vehicle buys a 650 ninja cause he "learned to ride a motorcycle by playing playstation".
He had it for about 2 weeks before he went down.
Didn't hurt it much but he never rode again and never paid another dime on the loan.
And....eventually gets fired for attendance issues.

Heh yeah I had a friend all jazzed about bikes from watching me ride all the time so he bought one, but forgot to tell me that he doesn't know how to drive a manual. He never did go down but ran the battery dead a few times because he was stalling it so much the few times he went to work on it last summer. At least it was an old cheap KLR 650 but yeah he sold it after it sat for a few months. He was getting better but was afraid of giving it gas despite about 12 hours of instruction and practice with me. Maybe I was a bad teacher though.

Thanks! I wanted the Blizzak DM-V1's but they only had these in stock and gave em to me for $132/tire (the price of the DM-V1's) versus $172/tire so I just said yes.

Traction control turns on way less now in 2HI, cornering stability is a bit reduced but not bad. The first 70 miles were a bit sketchy at 70mph until the release compound wore off, but now it cruises at 70 with not too much fuss on the highway. I suppose I'll have to go snowboarding now that my truck won't slide all over Loveland Pass. :D

    How's work going?
