My 2yo ended up with pneumonia but was ordered to test for covid so his Pediatrician said we have to isolate until the results come back... I’m told anywhere from 8 hours to 5 days for results.

Ordered a fancy new bumper today. Pretty stoked.
On a different note, wife's getting surgery tomorrow morning. I'm sure it'll be fine, but its always a little nerve wracking. Silver lining is I get to spend the next two days at home with her.

What's everyone else up to? I've got one foot out the door tonight. counting down the minutes.

We live in a very corrupt state, samples have to go to a contracted lab and line someone’s pockets...

I'm really liking the 6 off. It's like a mini vacation every other week :D

I'm sure that's nice. Just head down grind out 8 days and be free for a week.
I'm just sick of having a 2 night weekend. Can't get anything done cause I can't properly flip flop to days and back to nights.

That was one of my problems. I'd sleep all day Thursday and really only have Fri/Sat. I didn't like going out of town b/c of driving back Sunday and having to stay up all day/night. This way, I can still sleep all day Thurs and have 5 normal days. I'm only a month into this, but I like it so much better than the 4 on/3 off.

Yeah, I usually stay up Friday and sleep Fri night. Then I'm on days until I stay up all Sunday night.
Now I have to work Sunday night so if I were to flip to Days it'd only be staying up on Fri and Sat, just to stay up Sat night again.

Idk, I feel like I've gotten nothing done since I've only had 2 days off. Just not enough time between trying to find time for sleep.

That's one reason I wanted to swap. I just never felt like I had enough time to get anything done. With the 6 off, I don't have to rush to finish up all my "chores" :D
