Did they give a timeframe of how long it'll be down?

 

Waiting on new safety glass because there's a gouge in it from the last crash. So basically waiting on red tape. This thing is 15 years old and unreliable. Needs to be chucked.

 

Best to just get that 1st one out of the way.

 

Make sure you drink some water, wouldn't want to get dehydrated.

 

How long do those things usually last?

 

CNC machines? Depends on brand. I've seen HAAS machines run longer without issue than this thing. It's probably down once a month at least.

 

Dang. I would think it'd be cheaper in the long run to replace it.

 

That's what I said, but what do I know.

 

Seems llike most "employees" know more than the uppers that don't actually have any hands-on experience with things.

 

Took them 8 months to implement the idea I gave them. also had another that'd save them tons of money and they 'didn't have enough in the budget to implement it at this time' which means they shit canned it.
