When I get off at 7, I've gotta drive ~40min across town to get the jack and stands.
Also realized the kitten is going in for shots Friday morning so I probably shouldn't start on the brakes until that's done.
The wife would have a fit if I told her I was only gonna have one day off, too lol

I've got to run by Lynch and see what they'll charge for 2 UCA bolts and bed tracks. I found them at Reinhardt in Montgomery for $9.95 each(UCA)$32.21 each(Mounting tracks) with free shipping.

WTF you need UCA bolts for?

The trailer bed didn't have the tracks in it?

For when we do the lift. I've heard it's hard to get the bolts out and some just cut them out. I'd rather have them and not need them than get stuck with an unfinished truck.
The tracks had been taken before I go to the bed. I already have the header track, I just need the 2 side ones.

We just wheeled one bitch out. She supposedly went around to get the prescription and said the pharmacy wouldn't answer......so she came right back and signed it. Fucking twat.

I know damn well the pharmacy will answer. I just filled a script.

That chick from the vid was amazingly annoying, that wall eyed/lazy eye look she would give the camera was freaking me out. I only made it thru half the vid before I shit it down with extreme prejudice.

I'm not sure it would work for me. I figure it would make it one night before the dust bunnies under the bead blocked off the intake vents.

The reason they are hard to get out is a small part of the body is in the way. Still got to move that same thing to get them back in unless you're going in backwards with them. Then it's still a pain in the ass. Use a crecent wrench and bend the body just a touch and they will come right out. Then bend it back when you're done. You'll never be able to tell it. Mine are put back in the way they came out. Was pretty nice for them to be in that way when one of them came loose later going down the road. If the nut had come off then the bolt wasn't going anywhere. If they were in backward then the bolt could slide down and turn loose of the UCA on one side.

I have no plans to put them in backwards. I've read where some do that......not me. I would rather have them just incase. I'd hate to get to that point and need/have/want to cut them and can't b/c I don't have the replacements.

What makes you think you'll have to cut them? It's a southern truck.

It's worth the $20 to have them just incase. I want to be prepared for it. I can't afford to have the truck down while I wait for new bolts if needed. I've spent enough that the $20 isn't gonna break the bank on the susp kit :D
