Yeah, especially considering my wife just left her job that had health benefits.

I do know a guy whose dad made six figures as a manager of sorts at Mcdonalds.... o_O

Maybe it was Walmart? I don't know but it was somewhere you don't normally thing of someone making six figures.
Maybe I'll start part time on the weekends and then laugh at all the other contractor people when I make more than them at Walmart/McDonalds. :p

    R.I.P.

I have considered picking up a second job somewhere.

Get off at 7am here and go work somewhere for a few more hours or work somewhere overnight on my weekends. :notsure:

(Most likely) minimum wage after taxes for less than 40hrs a week probably isn't worth the hassle though.

I use to work a 2nd job at the old vet clinic when I first started at the hospital. The taxes at the end of the year killed me. It just wasn't worth it. I only worked 12hrs a week there. I did it mainly b/c I could take Sierra and Job with me to get baths and shots cheap :D

Yeah, I figure between trying to find something that fits my off hours and the taxes, I probably wouldn't make anything significant.
Minimum wage here is $12/hr and 30hrs is only $360 before tax...
I bring home ~$540/wk after tax, HSA, 401k, and health benefits.
If we ever got our raise, I'd make a good bit more. Rumor had it being ~$5/hr raise before shift diff.

They did. She said she added a file, but I couldn't get it to load. If I think about it while I'm off, I may give them a call.
