Dang. They took off the PowerStop brake kit I was going to get for the wife's car.
Only front/rear kit they have on RockAuto now is the Z23s which is overkill.
Gotta order it all separately now. I think it all comes out to about the same price?

 

I’m going to the mountains when I leave here. I only have two off tho then I’m back here this weekend.

Still laughable that PepBoys quoted $900+ for that.

 

I saw a kid post on the AL Tacoma FB page. He went to Pepboys to get his new headlights put in. They quoted $400.....so he paid another shop $185 to put them in. He makes a bunch of posts on each thing he thinks about. People told him they'd help him put them in for free. He said his mom wouldn't allow it. Seems like a nice enough kid though.

 

Yeah, I remember they wanted ~$80 for pads and ~$200+ for rotors per axle. PLUS labor. As soon as he showed me that, I told him to pull the car around.
I was willing/lazy enough to pay for labour costs but I'm not overpaying for parts like that.
