    Yeah, that mirror would be way easier. Mine runs around the drive side a pillar into/under the dash. I have it plugged in to the cigarette port right now though. Last tap-a-fuse I tried had too much chinesium and didn't work. Haven't had the motivation to install the new one yet lol. Maybe when I get around to cleaning my truck later, I'll mess with it.

    Need to put red loctite on my rearview mirror screw, too. Sick of it coming loose all the time.

    no idea, my eyes not what they used to be... maybe that’s why I failed the TSA screener test back in the day... everything looked like a weapon after working in a jail for a while.
