    yeah, hour plus drive each way, got it all fired up on hour 19 of no power, 2 hours later get an email saying estimated restoration was supposed to be at 11:45pm... 15 minutes after that email it was back on.

    still need to hire an electrician to connect it to the panel properly with a transfer switch. The part alone to do that was $330...
    I ran the fridge and freezer on extension cords for today, the well pump is hardwired so I couldn’t get that going.

    now since I finally bought one, we won’t have a power outage for a few years.
