Never mind. If we're not changing anything, we no longer have to complete it. That's nice

You caught me before the edit. We no longer have to fill it out each year if we're not changing anything.

 

Oh, we have to do ours even if we don't want to change anything. If we don't fill it out, we get nothing.

 

We use to. This is the first year we haven't. I even took a pic of the note just in case

 

It's so dumb. Just default it to 'no change' instead of 'nothing picked' or whatever..

Also, self evals are dumb. I'm terrible at talking myself up. I also haven't done shit worth talking about.

 

Our manager does our yearly evals. And I agree on the insurance. I haven't changed mine in the 12yrs I've been here

 

Our manger reviews ours when we're done but we have to write them initially. Pretty sure it's what determines if/how much of a raise we get at the end of the year?
In the past they weren't super personal so we'd just essentially copy/paste what our manager put in but now they want individual achievements and shit we've done personally.

I'm looking at our insurance now and it all defaults to no coverage.. I just try to go in and pick stuff that costs about the same as it did before lol

 

That's a bit strange they want a self eval

 

They compare our goals with what we actually do, I think? I don't know. I just want to come in, work, get paid.

Also need the wife to make sure I didn't jack up the insurance elections.
