I'm sure those are totally capable machines. I just have a problem with wanting fast stuff. Polaris is doing 1.99% for 60mo on the 1000 non turbo. I'm sure 107 hp is plenty. Buuuuut 180 from the turbo DEFINITELY is :)

I got out of my "speed" stage when I got rid of my GSXR. I'm too old to take spills

I should go rent a 1000 at the dunes and see if I feel it's fast enough

So I just had a revelation. I'm not going to be running paddles at the dunes. So the extra power really isn't going to be doing much most of the time. I'm assuming it'll be spinning mostly.

So maybe the 1000 is fine. And if I don't get a turbo might not have to sell anything.

yup, 2020. bought it july 3rd. when i left had around 2400 miles. lent it to a buddy since hes bike was down and was his only mode of transportation really and now its at like 3200. A friend asked if she could learn with it since she has before and she can reach better on mine then others, and as she was braking/parking it it went down on her. so just some battle wounds but says its not bad (not posting those pics since 2 are feet pics and some ya'll be weirdo's). She was mostly worried about the bike. but idc. Now the girl im talking to, oh she aint too happy and says im way to nice. I told her Jess (the one that dropped it) and i will have words when i get home and she picks me up from the port.

yeah that doesn't look bad at all. The scratch on the clutch cover can probably be sanded and painted. It's your bike so you can loan it however you want right? lol

I did a hack job on this one because track trim. you can kinda see the flat spot on the bottom of the bigger circle. but meh, if you arent looking for it, wouldn't see it. Yours looks way better than mine did before the "repair" though, not near as deep.

I was actually looking to buy a Z900 in June but couldn't find one in stock. I only wanted the green/black set up. I didn't like the red, and the blue was more expensive lol.

oh its not that i leant it, its more that they messed it up. haha. she knows i baby and try and take care of my stuff. didnt help we were on the phone when i read the email out loud and just started laughing. she also knows about some stuff between my ex and i and knows im way to nice and sometimes makes it seem like people are taking advantage of me. Mind you i am upset but nothing i can do about it right now.

and its a great bike. thing just loves to go. seen 141 on the dash and supposedly can go 148. As for tracking it, ill leave that to my GSXR once i get it put back together. That thing would be a blast to ride around a track on.
