I need you to keep your eyes open for a Ranger/S10 with one on it :D
Not once I get the trailer done. I just think it'd be cool to have a utility bed on one. It'd be perfect as a camp truck.

livin the dream; finally got my generator transfer switch and outlet installed today so working on 3.5 hours of sleep... wasn’t bad at $375. Cheaper than losing everything in the deep freezer during an extended outage.

Shit, I'd imagine one use will save that $375?

So, I drove her to work in her car and let it sit for a while. Cranks up fine. Checked the fuse on the radio and it was fine, too. Unplugging/replugging the radio seemed to fix it though...

Took the platform out of the back of the truck and went to put the headrests back in and now I have to find/buy bolts for that.

Hi all, living up here where we do lose power at times I have learned to take two 1/2 gallon plastic jugs and fill them with water and freeze them and then put one in the fridge and one in the freezer and make sure I rotate them every day. Take the one from the fridge and put it in the freezer and the one in the freezer move to the fridge. The chest freezer I leave a one gallon plastic jug in there all the time. If power goes out it helps keep it cold for quite a while. Also you will find your fridge running allot less.

Ooh, sushi sounds good.. I think we're good for batteries for the time being. I'm gonna have to go digging for these bolts and then either get replacements from the stealership or buy something similar from Home Depot.

Now I just need to remember to rotate the 3 fuel jugs with the tractor and snowblower to make sure the gas doesnt sit too long and go bad. Also thinking of picking up a 50-100 gal propane tank since it’s dual fuel.

So I told my wife today that I was planning on bringing my boy by a military recruiter Saturday just to get the run down, he’s 15 and wanted to be military since he was 4. I’m trying to explain to her that it’s better for us to get involved instead of him getting picked up in lunch period senior year.

A few years back when we lived in NH we were out of power for like 10 days after one of the big Halloween ice storms; that sucked.
